Community members who play violin, viola, and cello are invited to participate in the Fredericksburg Community Orchestra Christmas Carol Ensemble. Sessions will be held Friday, December 10 and 17 at 7 p.m. in the Social Hall at the Gillespie County Historical Society at 312 W. San Antonio. On Friday, December 3, 2010, six community members, including Theresa Britt, Brenda Boenig, Phil Houseal, Kathy Lux, John Reeve, and Tammy Widener, joined together to play Christmas carols at the founding meeting of the Fredericksburg Community Orchestra. One audience member, Kent Rylander, was in attendance. The noise from the parade down Main Street in Fredericksburg was in the background as the group played!
